Anchorage International Film Festival 2011

The focus is on a group of mod 1960s era suburban housewives who are close-knit and neighborly, but bent on one-upping each other and trying to prove that each is "the hostess with the mostess." They hold dinner parties for their recipe club, but when the gatherings become focused on boozy flirtation the story moves swiftly to drama about irresponsibility, selfishness and damaged people.
